Bread In Common is a real bread bakery run by B Arts in Stoke-on-Trent, based at 72 Hartshill Road in Stoke town centre.
It was set up because we’re passionate about baking, buying and eating better bread – and believe that better bread is something that all of us have a right to enjoy.
We have been working towards a full-time bakery for nearly five years. We have run baking projects all over the city, and our legendary mobile wood-fired pizza oven has popped up at many events serving the best pizza you can eat without sitting down.
As well as baking bread for sale we run baking courses so everyone can get more confident in baking at home, and we run community, school and young people’s projects around bread and baking.
By real bread we main bread baked with flour, water, salt, yeast and natural flavourings such as herbs, seeds and nuts. We don’t use any additives or artificial ingredients.
Currently we are baking once a week on a Thursday and you can find out how to order bread on the How to Buy our Bread page.
