We hope your Bonfire Nights went with a bang. And sadly we bid farewell to our Lancashire Parkin until next year. Lots of news this week. Our new special is Corin’s Excellent Flapjack, an oaty and fruity treat from Bread in Common and bread support Corin. 30p from every Flapjack goes to support Yolmo Connect, a charity which supports remote and deprived schools in Nepal, sorely needed work following the devastating earthquake last year. We’re sure they’ll taste even better knowing you’re helping do some good. The Country Sourdough continues as our other special bake. And…hold the presses you babka fans. The original poppy seed recipe is back. Watch out for new flavours in the future, but for now we return to the recipe that made it so loved.
We are out and about – as well as the next Newcastle Farmers Market on Friday 18th November we are at the Hartshill Christmas Fair on Saturday 19 November. Pop along and see us! There will be seasonal Christmas bakes – more details next week.
As ever orders by Weds 6pm, either through our online order form here or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Pick up 1-6pm Thurs from us at 72 Hartshill Road, ST4 7RB.
